About Kateri

Kateri Zitzelsberger was a Performing and Applied Arts and Quantitative Economics double major at Beloit College who graduated December 2025. She has trained in dance for 20 years. She has trained with dancers from Giordano Dance Chicago, Madison Ballet, and Eisenhower Dance Detroit learning a wide range of techniques. She enjoys teaching dance students of all ages. She recently composed a piece of music that she then choreographed a pointe group to.

 

Kateri has training in contemporary, ballet, musical theater, jazz, hiphop, and tap. Kateri has also trained in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), Pre-Hab, Cross Training for Dancers, Dance Fitness, Functional Awarenessâ’¸ Modern Movement Practice, Adaptive Uses of Dance, Unmapping: from Feldenkrais to Improvisation, Yoga, and Pilates. 

 

In her free time, Kateri enjoys reading, crocheting, and designing and creating garments for special occasions. Her favorite genre of book is tied between memoirs and cozy mystery.​​
